Course Objectives: 
This course is designed to deal with the concepts and related issues of urbanization in terms of social, political, economic and environmental aspects. The course examines the political economy of urbanization at different scales and especially investigates the effects on the environment.
Course Content: 

In this course, the historic city in the world and Turkey, the theoretical background of urbanization forming a part of the city and urbanization concept of public administration by considering the general principles and will be announced on value is based on the concepts and framework of urbanization problems in Turkey, slum housing, urbanization historical development, housing policy, principles and rules of urban and regional planning, briefly problematic aspects of urbanization and solution suggestions will be examined in detail.
