Course Objectives:

The aim of this course is to obtain theoretical and current information that has emerged in the scope of building knowledge in recent years. In addition, it is aimed to ensure that students have knowledge about basic concepts related to building knowledge.

Course Content:

Fundamentals of building work, primary elements of building systems, structure, behavior of structural systems, floor types, endurance strength, drainage, foundations, walls, floor coverings, water and moisture insulation, walls, columns, beams, frame and masonry systems, floors, stairs, Special detail principles in terms of roof construction, endurance, material, and operation are among the topics to be covered in the course.
